shawnblog: dominilucy: ariah: AFRICA in Perspective via I like this… people fail to realize how wrong those globes are… I get the point, to a point, but the image doesn’t really support what [I assume] the poster is trying to say…..the problem I have with the image is that “Africa” is not a country — it’s a continent, comprised of over 60 countries.  Included in that 60: Egypt.  South Africa.  Uganda.  Libya.  Algeria.  Madagascar.  Nigeria.  It cannot be reasonably argued that these 7 countries — much less the 60+ countries in the continent — are of one mind, one political purpose, one nationality, or even one race.  Comparing Argentina to Africa is like comparing me to New York City.
