That’s the normally respectable Lucy Yang of WABC-TV news here in the NYC market, doing a story on the flooding in Bound Brook, NJ. She illustrates this by sitting in an inflatable raft with some locals, which is fine…until Jesus (apparently) walks, on water, into the shot.

I know there are places in the state under 5 feet of water, for which you’d obviously need a boat…..but to minimize the significance of that degree of flooding for a photo op in a raft in ankle deep water is typical of what we call “journalism” today.
