If memory serves, after his playing days, he was Pat Summerall’s broadcast partner on NFL games before Madden took over that job. I also remember him hosting the football highlight show, back in the day, with Summerall. He was a good broadcaster, too; I always enjoyed listening to him.

The term “fiscal conservatives” is back with a vengeance.
The phrase is often delivered by the Republican party although many “centrist” Democrats sing the song as well and know the lyrics by heart.
